Blog Makeover and Spring Cleaning!

Notice anything different? I recently gave my blog a much-needed makeover! I wasn't happy with the blah layout of my blog and the lack of interactive elements, but I was totally intimidated to try fancy things like grab buttons, different pages, and headers. Well, lucky for me I know some lovely ladies who have inspiring blogs and between them and a little googling it wasn't hard at all!

I got my new background from Shabby Blogs (they have so many beautiful backgrounds and they are so easy to use!). I also got my header design from them and one of my buttons. They have great, easy-to-follow tutorials on there too.

I got another one of my buttons from The Cutest Blog on the Block. They also have great backgrounds and design freebies, as well as some really handy tips and tutorials for blogging.

The Merriweather Council is run by a cool girl named Danielle, and she also has a cool blog with all sorts of awesome tips and how-to's for blogging. I got rid of that pesky navigation bar at the top of my blog thanks to her!

I got a lot of inspiration from the clean lay-outs and features of Katrina of Salt City Spice's and April of Flourish and Debonair 's blogs - thanks ladies!

So, I think from a design perspective, my blog is definitely getting there! But as far as content, I'm still a little stuck with the direction I should be going in. So this is where you can really help me out... I've put a little poll on the right sidebar there, if you would be so kind please take a moment and vote for what you would like to see more of here!
