Peacocks and Lilies

"Remember that the most beautiful things in the world are the most useless; peacocks and lilies, for example"- John Ruskin

I'm going to have to disgree with Mr. Ruskin on this one! These Etsy finds featuring peacocks and lilies go to show that beautiful can be functional as well!

Beautiful Victorian inspired gift tag from PetitePaperieShoppe. You've got your peacock, your Marie Antoinette, and your pink ribbon- what more could you ask for? This would certainly add some extra to a special gift. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=41512920

Peacock shoe spats from Jaredgold! Beyond cool, I could see these totally peeping out from under a vintage wedding gown or sitting over some funky leggings.

What a sweet little clutch from FiazCo! I love how bold and bright the lily is yet delicate at the same time. Definitely a functional yet beautiful accessory! http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=42862142

In the words of Borat, "wow wow wee waa!" Get a load of this amazing corset by MadameDulcibelle! The colors! The textures! The support!

This lovely pillow by TuttieLou features table clothes and linens from the 1870s, 1910, and 1920s. It's so delicate and sweet you can almost smell the Lily of the Valley. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=11568987
